Skidmore Owings & Merrill | Moynihan Train Hall

Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM) will share their new office with our participants for a presentation of some of their latest projects before we embark on two site visits in Manhattan.
Architects from SOM will then guide participants on site and highlight key features of the projects, providing insight into their design considerations and details on their construction.

Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects | Little Island

Landscape Architect Signe Nielsen, Founding Principal of Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects (MNLA) will guide us through a tour of their recently completed landscape project, bringing insight to the design decisions of the innovative public space. Participants will get to go behind closed doors to areas of the project typically inaccessible to visitors, and catch glimpses of the underside of the Little Island and other aspects of its innerworkings.

Bjarke Ingels Group | big u East Side Coastal Resilience

Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) will invite our participants to their DUMBO office in Brooklyn for a presentation of some of their latest, large scale urban renovation and waterfront resilience projects in Manhattan.
Architects from BIG will highlight key features of the projects, providing insight into their design considerations and details on their construction.
